A lovely property in Pickering sleeping six people in four bedrooms.

Kingfisher Cottage is a delightful stone cottage in Pickering. With four bedrooms, a king-size double, two singles and a second floor super king-size double, it sleeps six comfortably. The second floor bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, and there is also a bathroom on the first floor. On the ground floor is a kitchen, dining room and a sitting room with open fire. Outside is off road parking for one car and a small courtyard garden with furniture. With so much to do in the area, and so much within easy reach, Kingfisher Cottage is a great base for a family holiday.

a bit small and just a couple of problems but it was only to sleep in
Enjoyed the week we had apart from not enough signs about the hot water being scalding hot and because the people we had with us could not read should have had picture signs up , the central heating kept coming on so with the hot weather it was hard to keep cool. Apart from that we managed We have been going to Yorkshire for many years now and this is the first time some really rude ignorant man has rang me saying that we had left the house unfit , saying that the cover for the drain in middle of garden was missing we had to put the table right over it to make sure nobody actually fell, then he said we had left it dangerous because I had the audacity to put the washing machine on for some sheets as someone had a nose bleed, I thought I was doing the right thing and we always put bedding on before leaving . when I tried to explain this to him he put the phone down on me. I will be contacting Sykes about this man as it has made me quite angry that he was so rude.

Kingfisher Cottage was lovely, in a perfectly quiet location. Perfect for walking and having a fun outdoors holiday. Strongly recommended
Mr Simpson

Really nice ,comfortable cottage which was warm and well equipped. Situated within a 5 minute walk of all amenities. This is a lovely place to stay and we had a good time. Lots of crockery and cutlery for all your needs.
Mr Hargreaves

Location good for coast, National Park and York. Absolutely perfect for two youngsters who are steam railway daft! The close proximity to the line did not disturb at all.
Mrs Adams

An excellent location, lovely cottage, the kitchen facilities were more than adequate. The attic bedroom and bathroom were truely superb, with a wonderful view of the castle on one side and the steam trains on the other. Had a wonderful stay and would return.
