We thought we were getting a holiday apartment with a seating area over looking the canal. On arrival we asked where we could sit out only to be told where do you think you can sit out in a first floor apartment to which I replied that's what is advertised on Sykes web site but got no reply. The stairs have restricted width due to the owners wife needing a stair lift but there is no mention of this in the details and it is hard to get suitcases up and down the stairs. The cobwebs were in nooks and cranny's and the seating was old and saggy with the settee covered in a blanket that was pinned to it so it could not be removed and was very scratchy on the skin. The dining room chair bottom was dropping out. The ironing board collapsed on my foot due to being damaged underneath .The gas cooker has to be lit with a match ! The bed was so uncomfortable as the mattress had seen better days and left us with painful back and hips . The property also looks onto a multi storey car park back and front . The only good thing about it is you can walk into town.

The apartment had everything we needed and the owner advised us of excellent tours in the Cotswolds and all around Stratford. We spent one of the best holidays we have ever had here. Thank you again.

The owners are lovely and very helpful. The position of the property is superb and having parking was invaluable. The flat itself is spacious and clean and well presented and the facilities are good with digital TV and wifi, I loved having a coffee maker. The position of the flat is what makes it brilliant, it is so central for walking around Stratford but also great for getting out of town quickly in the car. There is so much to do.
