This first floor apartment is in the village of Hutton-le-Hole near to Kirkbymoorside and can sleep five people in three bedrooms.

The Old School House is a lovely first floor apartment situated in the village of Hutton-le-Hole just three and a half miles from Kirkbymoorside in the North York Moors National Park. The apartment can sleep five people and has one double bedroom, one single and one single with pull-out stacker bed as well as a family shower room. Also in the apartment is an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area.

Outside is private parking for one car, a public car park two minutes' walk up the road for additional cars (charged at ?3 per day) and a private enclosed courtyard with furniture. The Old School House is a delightful apartment in a superb part of the country.

Delightful building in delightful village
Beautiful holiday accommodation in a perfect village. The positives were many. The village is delightful. Moors are nearby for easy walking without using your car. The building is a local landmark with a postcard view over the village. Nicely designed interior (a hanging rail in the single bedrooms would assist). Some negatives: I found the parking difficult, on a bend with three-way traffic, and often a large van adjacent so you are backing out blind. The public carpark for extra vehicles is not 24-hours (overnight not allowed) or I'd have been tempted to pay for that instead of parking outside the flat. The TV is small and difficult to see from dining table. Courtyard was unattractive, including rubbish blown down there, and we didn't use. Washing machine shared on one occasion (possibly with cleaner ? it was very full of sheets etc). The microwave blinked constantly and didn't seem to work properly but we adjusted to it. You need to telephone the owners in order to get the key instructions, rather than a normal email from the agency, which in our case was difficult. But overall we loved the flat, especially the sitting area with picturesque views from all windows. The Old School House was a lovely place to stay in this pretty area.

Don't want to leave!
If you have never visited hutton-le-hole, you must! It is the most beautiful little village! The pub over the road has wonderful, amazing food. There are sheep roaming freely around the village. You wake up to birds chirping happily. Now, the old schoolhouse... beautiful! The beds are very comfortable. The original features are just wonderful! Like the stunning Windows! It's very clean. You can see the whole village whilst sat on the sofa. The shower is fab, really powerful. I have spoken to the owner twice and she is lovely. Very helpful. We are here for a week, and we are enjoying every second. We will not want to leave! X

5 ladies bank holiday weekend
A spacious, detached apartment in an idyllic location. It is set above the shop but is completely separate. Quality furniture and furnishings. Immaculate bed linen and towels. One double bedroom, one single bedroom and a twin bedroom (one of the beds is a 'put-you-up' type bed) all bedrooms have pretty views. All that is needed is in the kitchen - microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer etc. Perfect views over the village and stream from the lounge. Easy parking.

A beautiful, spacious and very well equipped holiday apartment with bags of character. The location is fantastic, with a cafe downstairs, a pub and museum over the road and a beautiful country setting. We didn't want to leave!
