Gorgeous house in picturesque locatiob
This house is absolutely gorgeous! Stunning views in a beautiful and quiet location. The house had so many little touches which really made the house feel more like a home. There was loads of food and things left for us to use in the cupboards, including a gorgeous homemade ginger cake. Everywhere was spotless and of a very high standard. Would definitely stay there again!

A four bed cottage excellently appointed
A stay with friends at this excellently appointed cottage did not disappoint. With stunning views of North Yorkshire the bedrooms are large and bathrooms on both floors allow plenty of space. The kitchen diner has all that is needed for a week stay even though we were only there for 3 nights. The lounge has a log burning stove and logs were provided. We were welcomed with a home made cake and jars of preserves.
Some points for the owner....
Some form of seating in the bedrooms would help.
Maybe a larger fridge could be sited in the snug.

A perfect bankholiday break!
For a couple who have just started letting out their cottage for holidays, you couldn't have asked for much more! Genuinely was perfect break away over the bank holiday weekend. The owners were incredibly kind, welcoming an generous!
The cottage is spacious, modern yet very homely! It's beautiful. The kitchen is excellent and very well equipped for all needs. The living room is comfortable and relaxing, and the log fire (with both wood, firelighters and matches supplied) made it extra cosy. Large TV with sky (if you wanted it...) and loads of channels.
The bedrooms were lovely and spacious. Fluffy towels provided and clean white bedding too. Each of the 1st floor bedrooms come with a lovely view (either one of the fields and farm behind or the rolling hills and town below). The 2nd floor bedrooms also came with more than enough space for a couple, and if you were tall enough to look out of the skylight, a cheeky view too.
The bathrooms were lovely. Separate shower and baths in both bathrooms and they were clean and stylish! Walk in shower with rainfall like showerhead was great.
There's a washing machine and dryer if needed, which came in handy when one of us (mentioning no names...) slipped down a hill and clothes needed washing!
Garden was gorgeous. Allowed for a BBQ in the evening watching the sunset, or a coffee in the morning watching the sun rise into the hills. Also, the field/farm behind the cottage had chickens and lambs which were adorable. Fresh eggs every morning made breakfast delicious!
I couldn't recommend this place enough. The walks around the cottage were lovely, and it's a great location for other longer walks.
Seriously impressed. The owners have absolutely smashed hosting/providing the perfect weekend hospitality. I highly reccomend and will look to return!
