A wonderful weekend in beautiful countryside
We stayed here in June with friends for the weekend. The cottage was so lovely and welcoming, especially when we arrived late on a Friday evening. Thankfully very easy to find! We brought our two young children and stayed with friends who had children too. We found it a great property for holidaying with children. Safe, well equipped with cot, high chair and children's tableware. Plenty of space for them to play too and a safe garden as well. We didn?t have to venture far at all to entertain them and with amazing weather we paddled in the river, lunched at the nearest pub and visited the farm shop in Sizergh to watch the cows being milked. Beautiful countryside walks right on our doorstep. We also visited the Lakes Maize Maze as well which was enjoyed by all the kids, a great farm park. We managed to walk to everything, it couldn?t have been easier, the village even has a playground to enjoy and fields full of cows and sheep, always a hit! We would definitely return
