Situated on a family farm, this is a peaceful, cozy, detached bungalow in its own private garden with lovely views of Herriot Country, Swaledale and Wensleydale. A great deal of attention has been paid to every detail to ensure your complete comfort during your stay. With many years of experience we have added lot's of small but important features that really make Stanhow bungalow your home from home.

Little extras, such as maps, tourist information, books and games are provided to make your holiday more enjoyable. All the accommodation is on one floor and this spacious home is equipped to a very high standard with comprehensive double-glazing. TV & DVD, and free WIFI.

There is mobile phone reception. Stanhow bungalow is ideally placed to enjoy the many attractions that this region has to offer. This is the land of James Herriot, Heartbeat and Captain Cook.

It is also home to excellent walking, all types of recreation and renowned local hospitality. Peacefully located on the family farm with lovely views, an enclosed garden and good private parking and a garage to lock up golf clubs or bicycles. There is garden furniture and a barbecue, good parking & garage.

Enjoy the sunrises and sunsets Stanhow Farm Bungalow offers 1 double, 2 twin, bathroom with shower over bath, separate WC, living room with open fire, spacious kitchen/dining room. Bring your lap top, we have free WIFI - Bring your binoculars to enjoy the wild like, birds and flora. Enjoy walks from the door, ideal for cycling, horse racing and golf.

The Local Town Northallerton is a busy market town with a population of about 20,000 (including Romanby and Brompton). With its fine wide High Street, Northallerton has and still services the surrounding rural villages. Market days are Wednesdays and Saturdays when both sides of the High Street are home to stalls selling a wide range of goods and produce from fruit and vegetables through clothes, hardware and computer and phone accessories, health food and fresh fish.

On the fourth Wednesday of the month the market is joined by a farmers market selling local produce and food. Central for York, Durham and Ripon, Historic country houses & gardens, Castles and Heritage. Visit the coast Captain Cook country.

Richmond and the Georgian theatre are near by. The area is famous for good hospitality. Discount offered for 2 people on some weeks.

All linen, towels, tea towels are included, all electricity and heating. Rooms are prepared to suit individual guests. A warm welcome awaits.

The bungalow is owner maintained. Well behaved dog GBP20 per week. Damage deposit requested.
