Perfect in every way.
First stay at Cobblestone Barn and we were not disappointed at all. Very spacious, spotless inside and felt very much like home from home. Pub next door is excellent and would definitely recommend. Lots to see and do although you do have a bit of drive for some visits. That said this suited us as we like to be a little remote where peace & quiet is guaranteed. Hellvellyn was definitely worth walking although personally harder than climbing Snowden via the Pyg trail. Glad we did it though. All in all excellent and would highly recommend staying at the barn.

Brilliant. We Will Be Back
2nd visit to cobblestone barn. What a superb place. Well equiped and well managed by the owners. Our hosts were so kind and helpfull .. We love the place and will return. Well Done.

Fantastic Holiday Cottage
We stayed for Christmas and had a great time. This a great conversion, really well done, and the living room is amazing - high ceiling and a great wood-burner. The village itself is beautiful, and the hosts do a great breakfast in their shop / cafe. Would thoroughly recommend it: we were sorry to leave.

There was enough room for us all to chill out in the evenings, especially with the extra lounge area upstairs. The kitchen facilities were great, allowing you to cook a proper meal and it had the luxury of a dishwasher. Having the village shop and pub on the doorstep was also a great plus.

Lovely tranquil location. Very comfortable accommodation for our family including our toddler grandson who absolutely loved it. Easy access to other parts of the Lakes.
