This wonderful, detached barn conversion is set in the village of Doddington near Lincoln and can sleep sixteen people in eight bedrooms.

Moor Farm Barns is an outstanding, detached barn conversion in the village of Doddington near Lincoln. The cottage has eight bedrooms with en-suite facilities, including two double rooms and two twin rooms on the ground floor, and upstairs, four double rooms, two of which are located in a separate wing. There is a large kitchen with feature beams, a dining area and a garden room, and a separate dining room with French doors leading outside to the garden.

Relax in the sitting room or venture outside into the wrap around gardens while a patio hosts garden furniture, a barbecue, and a luxurious hot tub. There is also ample off road parking. Moor Farm Barns is a fabulous base for a family holiday exploring East Anglia.

This property is described on Sykes website, as being a stunning first class property, with quality fixtures and fittings, which was not the case. As a large family, we go away every year for a few days and read the description of the property very carefully before we go, ensuring that not only is it large enough to accommodate us, but that it is a clean well equipped and presented property. Although Moor Farm Barns was defiinately large enough, it was sadly in need of maintainence and updating in so many areas, with loose falling clothes rails in two bedrooms, to the point of being dangerous, especially for our grandson of two. Drawer handles were missing, plastic on the TV broken, lights bulbs missing in so many areas being quite dangerous, glass light fittings filthy, freezer drawer broken, toilet seat lid missing, towel rail coming away from the wall, filter floating in the hot tub, really quite dirty in places, with other household goods ie light fittings stuffed under the stairs, the right side of the cooker not working properly, dish washer needing a good clean. In fact there were so many issues, that I am unable to name them all,. When we initially arrived, I text Tracey the owner who lives next door, regarding fly spray for the bedrooms and instead of making contact with myself, it was then simply left outside on the front door step and at no point in our stay did she introduce herself to me. We were unable to contact Sykes during our stay, due to the location and on return, they were unable to take the matter any further. Be aware that Sykes Cottages are only acting as agents for the booking and the owners refused to refund any of the £2000+ we had paid fo the three nights. Yes it may be suitable for large hen and stag parties, but it is certainaly not a first class accommodation with quality fixtures a fittings of a high standard as advertised and was certainly not worth the amount we paid for the standard we received.

Great for large groups
This is our 2nd visit here after visiting in 2015. It is a fantastic property for large groups but some areas need a little work. The kitchen pots and pans and cutlery need updating. It wasn't as clean as we would have liked, underneath the sofas had been overlooked, one of the bathroom drawers contained body hairs that we'd have preferred not to find. The large sofa in the sitting room is broken. The filter in the hot tub was broken. We did mention this to the engineer who came to fix the control panel, he claimed its a floating filter although the other identical one was firmly fixed in place! By the end of the weekend the water was quite dirty. One of the bedroom lamps didn't have a bulb in, minor issue but makes a big difference. The beds were clean and comfortable. As I said it is a great place for large groups and we did have an amazing time. It's a beautiful property but just needs a little more care and attention before new guests arrive

Hen Party
Just visited this beautiful property for my sister hen do. There was 15 of us in total, and everyone couldn?t say enough how much they enjoyed the weekend and how stunning the location and property was. We was met by Tracey when we arrived who was lovely and helpful and explained everything to us. I would more than recommend this property, and we have already been pricing up another visit. We had the best weekend thank you x

Hen Weekend
We stayed for my Hen weekend and it was fantastic. The accommodation, Grounds & Hot Tub were brilliant and plenty of space for the 16 of us. All the bedrooms have en suites which comes in really handy and the bedrooms were a great size to. The lady who met us when we arrived was lovely and showed us what we needed to know and explained everything. The only down side was the WiFi kept going off so it wasn't the best and the coffee machine starting leaking on the Saturday morning so this became out of order but to be honest it wasn't anything to major. People are already looking to book again to take there families as it is a beautiful property and plenty of space. All in all it was the best hen weekend I could of asked for.

Lovely stay with great views
A group of 16 of us stayed for 2 nights for 2 peoples 30th. The entire house is amazing, great en suites and the beds are comfortable. Very spacious and modern design. Hot tub is great, 12 of us fitted in! Would recommend , Town close driving distance , but nothing really close by walking distance.
