This delightful, modern cottage in Mevagissey sleeps four people in two en-suite bedrooms.

Nectan is an attractive cottage adjoining the owner's home, on the outskirts of Mevagissey. With sea views and bright accommodation including two en-suite bedrooms (one ground floor double with en-suite bathroom and one first floor super king-size double, which is strap/link and can be a twin on request, with an en-suite shower room), this cottage can sleep up to four people comfortably. There's also a laundry room and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a woodburner leading to a private, enclosed south-facing terrace with furniture.

Just five minutes' walk downhill are Mevagissey's many amenities including intriguing gift shops and inviting pubs, cafes and restaurants. Nectan provides a wonderful base for discovering this popular and beautiful area of Cornwall.

Weeks Holiday Mevagissey 2019
Booked this holiday apartment for a weeks stay for me, my wife and adult daughter. Spoke to the owner Robin on the phone before we travelled and he emailed me directions to avoided going through the centre of Mevagissey. He also gave me tips on places to visit. This is a really nice apartment / extension with two good sized bedrooms attached to the main owners home. There was suitable parking for two large cars. Both bedrooms had en-suite bathrooms. One bedroom had a large double bed with the upstairs bedroom having a king size bed. Comfortable living area with seating for 4 to 6 adults. Kitchen was fully functional with electric cooker, microwave, toaster, filter coffee maker etc which was fine for our stay. Outside private garden with table and chairs to enjoy the sunny weather. We really enjoyed our stay. There are some very narrow roads around this part of Cornwall I advise those with satnavs to turn off quickest route selection and don't follow the route without checking the roads are suitable for your car. Some roads are are very narrow just a bit wider the your wing mirrors with few or no passing points. Be prepared to reverse.

Absolutely fabulous cottage
Absolutely fabulous cottage love it so much that this is our third year in going back. The place itself is cleaned to a very high standard and has everything you need. There are two spacious bedrooms both with having ensuites. The open plan living/kitchen area is quite spacious and can easily accommodated four of us. The garden is great sunny all day and is also secure which was good to know as we had a little dog . The owners themselves are fabulous hosts very welcoming and are always around if there is a problem or you need anything.Overall this is a fantastic property and place hope to go back next year even though we wish we could stay forever

Fantastic holiday cottage - highly recommended!
Extremely comfortable, flexible accommodation (two good-sized double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms) which was perfect for our stay with my elderly parents. The cottage was well-stocked, with everything we needed - we really appreciated the milk, wine, biscuits, upon arrival! The hosts were very welcoming - they were there if we had any questions but otherwise were very quiet and left us to enjoy our holiday. The garden was ideal for my parent's dog - very secure so we could leave her outside all evening whilst we watched her from the living room. We can't recommend enough and we will definitely be returning!

Fantastic accommodation with excellent decor, and it was very clean. It had a lovely garden complete with garden furniture, and the surroundings were beautiful. It was very welcoming, thank you for a memorable stay. Would highly recommend a visit.

The view from the lounge was fantastic. It was very peaceful with lovely walks around Mevagissey. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. The enclosed garden was great for our Labrador. In general, the cottage was worth every penny and we would definitely stay again.
