This traditional 17th cent. Cornish farmhouse in Veryan has an open fire, large garden and sea views and can sleep eight people in four bedrooms.

Polcreek Farmhouse is a splendid 17th cent. family house, in a tranquil setting at the end of a lane, just over a mile from Veryan. It is very private.

Sleeping eight in four bedrooms - a double and three twin, together with a bathroom suite with walk-in shower and an external shower-room. There is a big living room with an open fire, equally big dining room and kitchen with breakfast table and stools. A very family-friendly place in a great position for enjoying the lovely coastline.

Small front garden and a mown grassy space with rustic table and chairs. Carne and Pendower beaches are a mile away (the two merge at low-tide to give a mile of sand). National Trust land surrounds the house to a mile radius.

Nearby St.Mawes and Mevagissey are worth a visit, along with the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project.

Excellent pet friendly accommodation
Just returned from staying at pole creek farmhouse in Veryan Cornwall the house is spacious and homely with plenty of space for the dogs ,of which six are allowed. Veryan is an ideal base to discover plenty of Cornwall nearby such as the fal river, tressilick gardens carne beach and nare head all of which we enjoyed whilst we were there. We had a lovely welcome of a homemade fruit loaf and fresh flowers.there was plenty of board games, puzzles and books left for guests to enjoy. Will definitely return

Loved the view from the bedroom
As the title suggests we loved the view to sea from the master bedroom. In the garden you could sit by the fence and hear just the sounds of nature (livestock grazing, swallows and house martins chirping). We had 3 dogs with us and the garden was great for them. Kitchen was well equipped, Wi-Fi had good speed and the rooms were all spacious. As were were here in the summer the stone floors were nice and cool. Do not be put off by outside shower as it is fine and adds a bit of character. There is an inside bath upstairs and two inside toilets (1 up, 1 down). Journey to farmhouse is down a track so if you have anyone that will feel pain going over bumpy terrain then this may not be for you but you can smooth the ride by careful driving but there is a big bump at the gate to watch out for. Rooms have old style electrics (50's ?) but there are other sockets in rooms that are upto date but you cannot plug your own kit in to sockets by your bed due to the old sockets. Carne beach is approx a mile away (look at that on the web or trip advisor to get a feel) but it is sandy and the water is clear and you can find crabs. Eden project is also in distance to get to visit.
