Lovely place
This is a lovely property in a good location for traveling around. Near to Watergate Bay beach which is stunning and clean with some great places to eat and have a coffee!.
The barn itself is great but a little miss leading for us booking as a dog friendly place- which it is but we would of preferred to not book a place that has such an open garden leading to the road!. There are no fences or gates just a lovely garden that actually isn?t that dog friendly if your dog likes to jump into water- the pond is very large and full of fish. Luckily mind isn?t bothered about ponds... just a heads up here. There where also two roaming local dogs that use the grounds of the garden too, again isn?t ideal as they leave their poo behind too! This wasn?t picked up all week and it put us off using the patio furniture area. Also having the doors open to the barn on a warm evening lead the dog to keep coming inside. Again nothing major the dog was lovely but we didn?t expect this.
The paddocks and Orchard is probably miss leading too. The bedroom had some doors leading to the terrace which couldn?t be opened due to the bees, that's fair enough but again these are all the little things that make you choose from one property to another.
Having said above it's a lovely place and the owners were lovely.
I hope this doesn?t put anyone off from booking as not my intention. A few tweaks here and there would make this place be 10/10 oh and also a sign outside near the entrance showing Lost Barn would be ideal!.

Lovely cottage and stay
We had a lovely time at the lost barn with our two dogs. The cottage was as described lovely with everything you need in a lovely quiet setting. The bedrooms were lovely with fine bedding just what you need for relaxing.
Ideally situated for travelling around the area of Cornwall.
The cottage had a lovely garden with an outside table for dining and sun beds for relaxing after a day touring around. It also has a pond so kept our dogs tied on a long leash to avoid any unwanted dipping
Nearest supermarket five miles so don't forget anything your wine or champagne ha.
Best places to visit port Issac, st ives, Padstow, polperro, Land's end but lots of others worth a visit like Newquay, watergate Fowey and others etc.
Went down some narrow country lanes when visiting ha ha so watch for these
Fab place would defo recommend
