Surfside, on the outskirts of Marazion - Cornwall's oldest chartered town - is a delightful, purpose built holiday home close to Penzance. Marazion is home to two sandy beaches, many good food pubs, shops, galleries and an antiques emporium. Sleeping up to four guests, there are two calming and stylish bedrooms and a family bathroom, a modern and uncluttered interior that is open plan with comfy leather sofas, a modern kitchen and dining table.
Outside is a patio area and designated parking within landscaped grounds. This is an ideal choice of holiday home for families and friends alike who will really appreciate the close proximity to the ocean mere moments away. Note: This group of properties are situated 35m from the Penzance to Redruth railway line.

Basic cottage set on the beach
We stayed in August 2022. The cottage is basic in style but the kitchen is well equipped and there is plenty of space. The location is lovely right on the beach you do have to walk a short way down the coast path to get onto the beach as there is a high beach wall in front of the cottage. Bits and pieces in the cottage need updating- the patio door needs replacing very hard to open, bathroom looks tired but is functional but the lock didn?t work. The railway line didn?t really bother us but you can hear the trains past. No Wi-Fi or phone signal. Not much privacy as people constantly walking past on the coast path but again that didn?t really bother us. Bus stop near by. We had a lovely stay the beach is beautiful at night. We stayed with a dog and you have to walk about 10 minutes down the path to get to a dog friendly beach. The station pub near by is ok nice fish and chips and beer. The Mexico Inn in long rock is really nice and The Kings Arms in Marazion. Also the pasty shop in Marazion is really nice.
