Delightful barn conversion in scenic, rural location. Wood burner. Patio.

WiFi. Off road parking. Fowey 8 miles.

A superb, stone, semi-detached barn conversion, set within the owner's peaceful, farmstead alongside 2 other holiday cottages. The Byre lies in a scenic, rural valley, a mile from the town of Lostwithiel and a 15 minute drive to the coastal town of Fowey. An ideal base for a couple to explore Cornwall’s beautiful countryside and coastline.

An immensely comfortable, single storey barn, the open plan living space is brimming with country cottage appeal. Kick-back after a day’s exploring and relax beside the wood burning stove. A well equipped kitchen has dining for four and a double bedroom boasting a superking, zip link bed.

Enjoy summer evenings on your private terrace or explore the 9 acres of meadows and ponds where you might meet the sheep (please supervise pets and children). The charming town of Lostwithiel is well known for its interesting antique and curio shops and has a great range of independent retailers and grocery shops. Spend the day at the famous Eden Project, its magnificent Bio Domes displaying plants from across the globe.

The coastal town of Fowey, famously linked with the authoress Daphne du Maurier, who, for a period of time lived in Fowey with her family, is a vibrant harbour town brimming with galleries, gift shops and fashionable cafes and restaurants. A perfect choice for an escape to the countryside or for discovering Cornwall’s best qualities.
