Needs some money spent on this property to make it just right !
? One of our guests crooked his foot on a bodged step on his way up to the first landing, the storage heater fitted to the wall by the breakfast bar was hanging off the wall (Dangerous) . We had to use drain unblocker in two of the shower trays because they were partly blocked. The steps up from the kitchen and from the conservatory up in to the dining room need to have some sort of hazard tape as we spent all day in the local Hospital after these trip hazards caused our Mother to fall. Quite a few of the bed mattresses need to be replaced as they are knackered and cause uncomfortable sleep . The house its self is quite tired in places and could do with a little TLC.Location was excellent with fantastic views, very close to the beach but marred by the sightings of Adder Snakes on the walk down to the beach. The gardens were tidy with its own BBQ.

Views to die for, wonderful house
As you drive along the lane approaching the house you can see that the position is second to none. Once inside a few steps take you to the main living area and the view hits you. It is all encompassing and truly amazing. The room is massive, light with plenty of comfy couches. The kitchen initially looks small but it has everything you could need and more. A large fridge freezer, an extra fridge, dishwasher and a very large range cooker. The drawers were carefully laid out with utensils and numerous gadgets and the cupboards full of china (including a set of Portmerion) all spotlessly clean. The dining room is quite open plan with a TV and a nice window seating area and a working fire place. The well equipped games room has a large TV and 2 large couches. There are 3 main bedrooms with seats in the picture windows and views straight out over the sea. One of these has a small ensuite shower, one a massive state of the art shower room and the other a full bathroom close by. There is a downstairs twin bedroom with a shower room along the corridor accessed through a laundry room housing a washer and drier. Off of the staircase is a good size room with bunk beds and through an adjacent door a narrow staircase leading to 2 attic rooms, one with a small ensuite shower. All rooms have independent heaters which were really efficient. The WiFi is OK downstairs and some mobile phone users would have to walk about about a bit on the terrace to get a good signal. The caretaker is on hand most of the time as well as in phone contact for emergencies. He is very helpful and pleasant. Nothing appears to be too much trouble. Thank you for the welcoming basket with a bottle of wine, savoury biscuits and tea bags as well as milk in the fridge. A perfect start to a wonderful stay.

An amazing cottage in an amazing location
A group of friends and I stayed here for a week. The pictures looked great but didn't do the cottage justice.. The place is amazing and the views were stunning. There was 2 large terraces and a big garden for the dogs to run around, all of which was nice and private. The living space was a good size and looked out to the bay. It was a short walk down to gwenver which is a lovely beach and about 30 min walk to Sennen. The care taker was on hand for any problems or queries and the small gifts on arrival were lovely! All in all a fabulous week, we didn't want to leave.
