The Old Vicarage, a large Grade II listed detached Georgian manor house, a former vicarage nestled in St Issey, boasts a games room and allows pets. Padstow less than 5 miles; Wadebridge less than 5 miles.

The Old Vicarage is a grand, detached Georgian manor house is a Grade II listed and a former vicarage situated in the pretty village of St Issey, which is less than 3 miles from the delights of Padstow and the north Cornish coast. A traditional holiday home set within ¾ acre of grounds, St Issey Vicarage is perfect for big family get-togethers, ideal for birthdays and family events. Drive through wrought iron gates and sweep into the large drive to this impressive retreat.

Enter through a splendid arched doorway into an architectural gem. The feel of the old building remains with impressive interiors that are the perfect mix of elegant charm and modern comfort. Just off the hall is a library area stocked with good books, a formal dining room for celebratory feasts and a drawing room for after dinner drinks.

Continue along the hall to the rear of the house where an informal dining room, with seating for 12 guests, and a bespoke kitchen come together as one and create a laid-back space to spend time together. A snug with plump settees and a big screen TV, wet room and WC completes the ground floor accommodation. Head up the imposing staircase to six luxurious bedrooms, four of which have en-suite bathrooms.

Classic furniture, good art and sumptuous bed linens, all sit together exquisitely, while swish bathrooms are thoroughly spoiling with thick fluffy towels, deep bath tubs and invigorating showers. A sixth bathroom completes the first-floor accommodation. Children will love the large wrap-around lawn garden, which is well screened from view and the basement games room with a pool table whilst parents relax on the terrace patio with garden furniture.

When you are ready to explore the surrounding area you will find that St Issey Vicarage is a convenient launch pad for coastal adventures with the sandy beaches at Harlyn Bay, Treyarnon, Trevone and Constantine and a stunning coast path within a 10 minute drive. Padstow, with its reputation as a top UK foodie destination, is home to the famous restaurants of celebrity chefs, Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth as well as fashionable art galleries and boutique shops. The Ring O Bells pub is across the road and well known locally for serving good quality Cornish ales and home-cooked food.

Travel a little further afield to the hotpots of Rock, Port Isaac and Polzeath or head to the Eden Project, Blue Reef Aquarium and Crealy Adventure Play Park for fun family days out. A well connected location, a bus service operates to Padstow and Wadebridge while Newquay airport is a 15 minute drive and Bodmin Parkway train station is a 30 minute drive.
