GREAT FOR WALKING AND RELAXATION This quaint detached barn conversion enjoys a secluded rural setting situated next to a Cornish Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve and Helman Tor a picturesque rocky outcrop that is an undiscovered beauty spot with panoramic country views and a fantastic place for a picnic. Perfect for walkers and dog owners of all abilities and ages with the well-known and loved Saints Way and Wilderness Trail that meander across the moor and countryside. Direct access to the National Cycle Network with many off road trails and quiet country lanes to enjoy on the way to lunch in the historic 17th Century local pub renowned for its good food and tranquil beer garden.

Cycle hire and horse riding are available at several locations nearby. Convenient for Luxulyan Valley which is a renowned World Heritage site and Lostwithiel with its antique shops quality restaurants bistros and tea shops. Here you can visit Restormel Castle stand on a medieval bridge and walk by the beautiful River Fowey.

Alternatively take a guided kayak river trip from Lostwithiel with a lunch break at the hidden harbour village of Golant. Just a short drive from some of Cornwall’s most hidden secrets from the sheltered beaches picture postcard harbours and seaside villages that are dotted along the South coast to must-see destinations. These include Fowey with its deep natural harbour and its growing reputation as a ‘foodie’ location with ample restaurants serving the catch of the day fresh off the boats to the Michelin star restaurants.

The Eden Project proclaimed as the 8th Wonder of the World is just a short drive away as well as numerous National Trust properties such as Lanhydrock House and gardens and many other stunning gardens. With its central location and easy access to the A30 and both South and North coasts Little Sylvan Tor is a great venue for visiting all of this intriguing County.This conversion is finished to a high standard offering TWO bedrooms: both on the ground floor 1 double and 1 twin.

Bathroom: also downstairs bath with shower over and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: open-plan area on the first floor with views across fields countryside comfortable seating TV Freeview DVD video CD player woodburner (with fireguard) and a selection of books DVD’s and games. Kitchen area with cooker microwave and dishwasher.

The washing machine and tumble dryer are located on the ground floor. Outside: pretty enclosed garden reached from the drive or via the lounge that leads out onto a balcony area with table and chairs. Traditional granite steps lead down to the rest of the garden with BBQ large picnic table and lawn.

Wellington boots are recommended to explore the Nature Reserve garden hose available for washing boots and dogs. Amenities: ample parking. Bed linen towels electric and heating included.

Pets welcome (more than 2 by arrangement). Regret no smoking in the property. Location: beach 7 miles shop and pub 2 miles.
