Cornwall Self Catering cottage, Lazy Days, St Merryn, sleeps 4

NOT PRIVATE AT ALL be aware if you have children
We stayed at lazy days for 7 days at the peak of this summer We were watched by the neighbour(apparently the owners house keeper we have since been informed but I met the house keeper when we arrived early and this was not her and her strange male partner I say strange as they would just stand and watch us or our kids ) After day too we had a call from Sykes the agent a lady called Rebecca who told us we must not charge our electric car at the property we said we did ask if it was ok and asked them to listen back to the taped calls when booking and they didn?t get back to us we did also offer to pay for any extra electricity we used usually about £5/7we offer£20 to this we were told you are being watch this absolutely wrecked out stay at this place that is falling apart to get home and be informed that the owners would be charging us an extra £400 plus for not emptying the kitchen bin not impressed at all loved Padstow will never stay in the not PRIVATE NoT BUNGALOW and will be taking this further please feel free to contact me if anyone wants a true review of this place Considering my husband is disabled and they were informed and the charging point at the local Tesco is free the owner is now trying to charge me this money even taking £100 out of my account without informing me first be careful I paid £1000 for a nice break with my young children and husband disgusting

Nice, a few little tweaks needed.
Lazy days is nice accommodation just needed a few little cosmetic changes to make it a lot better. 10 minute drive to Harlyn bay & Padstow so good location. Wifi good which was a bonus. Only slight criticism was price, we stayed on same site two years ago in same type of accommodation for £500 less. This maybe due to covid causing rental prices to go up so maybe justified?? Overall though we had a good holiday.

Lazy Days was a great property. It was quiet and private. It was an ideal base to visit some great places. We have everything we needed in the cottage, which made us very pleased.

Lazy Days is such a beautiful cottage and it was perfect for our first family holiday with our 7 month old daughter. The decor and furnishings inside are done to a very high standard and make the whole cottage seem very homely. The owner had provided everything we could wish for and the rooms were very spacious as well. The owner had thought of every detail and had also left a huge pile of brochures and leaflets for different places to visit and walks to go on. We really couldn't have chosen a better place to spend our holiday and would highly recommend anyone to stay at Lazy Days.
