Dovecote offers homely studio-style accommodation in the leafy green countryside near Helford. The property sleeps two people and has one double bedroom (en-suite) as part of the open plan living/sleeping area. The accommodation is all on one level and a galley kitchen leads off from the living/sleeping area.
Outside there is a pretty cottage garden with outdoor furniture plus off road parking for two cars. Located just a short drive from the village of Helford and the banks of the Helford River, Dovecote offers a peaceful retreat throughout the year.

Away from it all
This is a lovely cottage situated in secluded and quiet countryside, there is no traffic noise just peace and quiet. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. The cottage is well equipped there is a separate kitchen and bathroom and the main room is split between a very large and comfortable bed and a dining/living area. Parking is off-road. As to the roads themselves that would be my only caveat they are very very narrow and Cornwall is not known for its careful driving! There is plenty to see and do in the area with most 30 to 40 minutes away, eg Falmouth, The Lizard, Penzance, St Ives even Land's End is easily reached. Their is the lovely town of Helston near by for all your shopping needs and I can recommend the Blue Anchor for some real ale and also see how it is made. Great place to stay.

Beautiful place
We had a warm welcome with cream tea provided and tea, coffee and milk. Lots of extras like kitchen paper and washing up liquid provided too.
The place was comfy and clean. We had warm weather and enjoyed sitting out in the sunny garden for breakfast.
Be aware that access to Dovecotte is down three narrow lanes. However it is not far from Helston and supermarkets and places to visit.
