Absolutely beautiful
We stayed in Myrtle house for a week on a family trip. As it was during the pandemic we needed a large house with good facilities and by goodness, we found it in Myrtle house. The owner could not have provided any more to make our stay comfortable. The house has everything one could possibly need. It is a beautiful 5 story Victorian terrace, with all the original features and every possible comfort. Each bedroom has a beautiful en suite with rain shower and the master has a huge bath tub. We did not use the attic room as there was only 5 of us, but it's a bit less accessible due to the ceiling height, and the shower looked a bit awkward to use. The bed itself is a good size though. When we arrived after a really exhausting drive from London during Storm Alex, we found a lovely hamper of luxurious Cornish treats, which were gratefully received. As I mentioned above, we had to spend a lot of time in the house due to Covid, and my elderly parents, so we cooked dinner quite a few evenings and the kitchen was wonderfully equipped. There was also a larder cupboard filled with all the essentials needed to cook, such as salt, pepper, tea, sugar, coffee, oils, vinegar and other condiments. I love to cook and the kitchen was a pleasure to use. I struggled with the gas oven a bit as I'm not accustomed to it but got used to it as the week went on! The only small criticism I have is that the mattress on my bed (the second floor room next to the room with the 4 poster bed) was very soft and I had back pains waking up. However I'm used to a very firm bed so this may just be me. We would definitely recommend this house, it's beautiful great to spend time relaxing with family and friends.
