Situated at the edge of the striking Cornish moorland this holiday cottage has countless footpaths and picturesque lakes and visitors may encounter an exciting variety of wildlife. Ponies cattle and sheep quietly graze the open land. Why not have a change of pace and take a course at one of the local riding schools nearby? Guests that love trekking can enjoy exhilarating walks to the peak of Brown Willy the highest point in Cornwall and neighbouring outcrop Rough Tor.

The ascent to both peaks is possible in a single day. This property s location offers easy access to a variety of top visitor attractions such as The Eden Project the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the historic Jamaica Inn for fans of Daphne Du Maurier. The fishing port of Padstow on the coast is also nearby and offers excellent fresh fish restaurants with Rick Stein hosting about half a dozen of the best known.

Alternatively stay in the cottage and enjoy the cosiness of a true rural idyll. Set over three storeys on entering the property and through a small entry hall and up a small flight of internal steps you will find the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with ample comfy seating a TV/DVD and a hi-fi. The kitchen area comes complete with an electric oven and hob fridge with ice compartment microwave and a dining table for two people.

On the middle floor is a shower room with shower and WC. From here and down a few more stairs you will find the bedroom situated on the ground floor containing a double bed. Guests also have use of a nearby shared laundry room that contains a washer/dryer.

Outside is a private decked area with a charcoal BBQ and seating perfect for dining al fresco. Ample off-road parking is also available.
