Cornwall Self Catering cottage, 5 Stonerush Valley, Lanreath, sleeps 4

Sad and tired!
We have come to Stonerush lakes many times. We have always found the lodges to be clean, tidy and very good value until now. This lodge is tired and in desperate need of updating. Both showers leak and as a result the property has a horrible damp stench. The sofas are old but comfortable, although it looks like a dog has chewed one of the seats. We have our dog with us but we have brought covers with us to protect the furniture. The double bed is uncomfortable with a very poor quality mattress and the bedding has seen better days. The ensuite smells terribly and has black condensation all over the ceiling. The outside area consists of decking a hot tub and some outside furniture. One of the tables umbrellas is down beneath the decking in the trees! It was like that when we got here and the seat pads for the outside chairs were in the cupboard soaking wet! I have tried to contact someone as we also have mice in the property but reception is closed and nobody is answering the emails! I like Stonerush Lakes but this property is a big No!
