This ground floor, studio cottage close to Bodmin in Cornwall can sleep two people in one bedroom.

The Studio is a charming, cosy studio cottage situated down a quiet farm lane near the St Kew Golf Club, near Wadebridge in Cornwall. The cottage offers an open plan living area with a kitchen, a sitting area with a woodburning stove, and a partially partitioned double bedroom. There is also a shower room leading off the living area.

Outside, there is off road parking for one car, a private patio and just down the lane, the St Kew Golf Club. The Studio is a charming retreat for couples wishing to explore Cornwall and relax, surrounded by beautiful countryside.

There are too many bad things to say about this property, I wouldn't know where to start. The front door is a Patio door which does NOT LOCK at all. We had many sleepless nights as felt uneasy, plus not sure what would be left when we came back from days out. You are not allowed to leave the heating on at night (electric fire and a plug in radiator)j we were FREEZING in bed at night. There is a flue in the front room, possibly from a log burner that was previously there, it is completely open and the wind howls down it, very cold and very noisy - we ended up having to stuff a jumper up it and tie it on with a belt to try and stop the noise and wind. The bedroom is in the main room, partitioned off with a curtain, there is a room at the back of the property which the fridge and microwave are in - surely (with heating) this would be an ideal bedroom? This would give more room for another sofa and a proper dining table/chairs in the living area. The 'Dining table' is a piece of wood which folds down from the wall which is wobbly with 2 stools. The back door in the back room does not unlock or open therefore there is NO FIRE ESCAPE if there was an issue at the front of the accommodation. There is no private garden for dogs if you take them, the owner has a jack russell which does NOT like dogs at all, it also has free run of the place and comes up to the door barking and scratching, if the door was open it would come in, You cannot therefore leave the door open or leave your dog tied up outside. It came after our dog and was snarling and barking at the door trying to get in. You are expected to turn the gas pilot light off each time you go out, water the plants and take the bins out down the drive for the dustbin men. We had a couple of power cuts whilst there one lasted for over 12 hours overnight, we had to sleep fully clothed. The owner was away. I have since read reviews on this place and they all say the same, with nothing being done. This is the second time I have written a review and for some reason it is not being published! All I want is a FULL REFUND.

The Studio was well appointed and in a good location for getting around the countryside. Bed was extremely comfortable.

Loved the property, it was in a nice setting in a lovely location. Will definitely add this to my favourites and visit again.

Was all lovely we had an amazing time.
Miss Targett

The Studio was in a great place near the shops so did not have to go far and there were nice views from the garden. We want to go back there next year so that must say a lot. Thanks for a very nice holiday.
